Description: There are so many things to love about this elegant antique photo album! The cover is green velvet with celluloid poppies and Asian inspired brass hardware. The pages have a gorgeous gold foil bee and flower design. There are several original photographs inside. The first is of a handsome young man that is possibly biracial. There are also a handful of nice wedding photographs, children, etc. There is normal wear to the velvet exterior, and unfortunately someone later taped a few photocopied pictures into the album and tore the frames on those picture pages in the process, but there are still many other nice, original photographs and pages, and the grouping as a whole is a lovely example of family photography from the late 19th century. The album measures about 8 1/2" x 10 1/2".
