Description: ~*~Hello and thank you for looking~*~A wonderful antique French toile with fabulous chinoiserie design!! This textile would have hung from a bed as valance ~ This textile was printed on a wonderful hand woven simoise with stunning red design. I haven't been able to identify this fabulous pattern! There is a possibility that it is English, but most likely French ~ A very exciting find indeed. It's backed in a lovely linen and trimmed in a pale green silk trim on the edges. A very very rare and very high quality textile indeed ~ 100% hand stitched. ( please see my other textiles for the matching bed curtain) CONDITION: Remarkable condition indeed! The silk trim shows some wear and there are some pale blue marks on the linen backing. Generally in wonderful condition indeed ~ the panel itself doesn't get any better, just amazing! ~*~ ~*~ ( Toile 14) MEASUREMENTS: This wonderful panel measures : 9 inches by 184 inches long!!!
