Description: This listing is for a beautiful antique sterling silver box This box is decorated with etchings of flowers and leaves, with a smooth oval on the top ready for a monogram or engraving The front side of the box has a little hole for a key, which we do not have The box opens nicely & stays securely closed This box measures approx. 5 1/4" x 3 1/2" x 2 1/4" The interior is lined with a dark green velvet The bottom of the box is marked "Sterling" and "S&E" - we cannot identify this maker's mark, so we'll leave that up to you, the experts There is also a "14" marking on the bottom This box weighs 405.1 grams Lovely box with great detail. This box has pretty patina/tarnishing, some scratches and spotting on the bottom with a slight ding on one bottom edge. The interior green velvet has some wear and scratches.
