Description: Reinhold Schlegelmilch German Bowl with Raised Iris Design 1898-1908 Beautiful antique bowl from Germany marked with the Suhl, Tillowitz Reinhold Schlegelmilch Red Steeple mark. This bowl has a raised gold rim, with baby blue against white porcelain ground, decorated with daisy flowers along the rim and gold highlights.The center has a lovely arrangement of flowers in multi color. Raised rim foot and center raised circle with hallmark. Reinhold Schlegelmilch of Suhl, Germany. These RS factories were in Suhl and Tillowitz, which is the reason for the S & T at the top of the steeple in the hallmark. Tillowitz is now Tulovice, Poland. The red steeple mark was used between 1898 and 1908. This is a very collectible and beautiful bowl and is a must-have addition to any collection of period porcelain. Condition: No chips, cracks, or repairs, overall excellent with very minimal wear. Circa, 1898-1908 Measures, 2 7/8" tall x 10 1/2" diameter Marked, as noted in photos.
