Description: This antique HOLY BIBLE has the Old and New Testaments translated out of The Original Tongues with the former translations diligently compared and revised. It was published by the American Bible Society of New York in 1911. The American Bible Society was instituted in 1816. Dimensions: 7.5" X 5.5" X 1.75" with 1159 pages. This HOLY BIBLE is in very good condition with lovely engraving on all sides of the cover. The only damage found was part of 2 pages torn out near the back, slight separation of the cover paper on the front cover, and slight wear on the bottom edge of the front cover. There are 3 pages of family history recorded in the back dating up until 1923. There are several 4-leaf clovers pressed between the pages. This would be a wonderful addition to any religious collection.
