It is set in, but easily removable from, an appropriate unpainted modern frame in a traditional style. The frame measures 5 3/4" by 5 7/8". The tile is 5" square by a hair under 1/2" thick. There are some edge problems that can be seen in the image of the unframed photo, that don't appear when the tile is in the frame.
