Description: Antique Edwardian Yellow Silk Drop Waist Beaded Dress AS-IS Display Pattern This is a lovely piece that encapsulates the glory of handmade dresses in the early 1900's. Silk doused in tiny white beads. The hem of the dress & sleeves is so romantic with its swooping design & interwoven beads. Snap button closure down the bodice side of the dress & is lined with a slip in a matching color which also has a snap button side closure. This dress sadly has many of the issues that plague silk pieces this old - so please study the photos & description before purchasing. Bust 40"Waist 32"Length 48"[more measurements above] Fair condition - considering this is an original piece that's 100 years old there's definitely some saving grace details. The fabric is fragile and has started to tear in places - mainly armpits. I'd say roughly 10% of the beading is gone/loose. And it is quite heavily stained, in my opinion. But a heckuva stunning display piece! All of our clothing is stored in a clean, smoke-free & pet-free room.
