Description: Your Unidentified document is a Charles I Final Concord which I think relates to Deptford. Final Concord's were fake court cases that enabled a property transaction to be confirmed in court (something that would otherwise not be allowed). Court documents were more securely held than deeds held by local officials of private solicitors. The information contained in them is basic at best and in many cases as fake as the case itself. The markings and indents at the ends were to prove authenticity. It has the typical wavy cut top...... which has a word at the top left side and other intials within the top cut line... then 9 lines of wording with no stops....apart from right at the end. On the back it has a single line of wording..right in the centre. To you the scholar.. you will have little trouble reading this... so thats good for you. It is 14 and half inch long x 4 and half inch wide. It could be historically important to some archive folks.. Apologies if I have anything written down incorrect...as I cannot be as accurate with some of these type of documents as I would like to be..
