Description: This American drop dial regulator was manufactured in the late 1800s. The case is veneered in a figured rosewood and is in excellent original condition. As can be seen in the pictures areas of the dial have fades somewhat, replacement dials are available and inexpensive for these clocks although I preferred to leave the original dial in place. The 8 day movement is complete and appears fairly clean, it is in working condition and striking the hours and half hours reliably.
