This piece features a striking geometric black and white design, signed by C.M.S. It was handmade with care, illustrating the skill and artistry of the Acoma culture. The pottery has a rich history, but unfortunately, its provenance and ownership history are not available. It is free of cracks or chips, It does have a few very minor scratches on base and lip from wear and usage. Also the bottom inside has three very minor holes but not through to the bottom and might have happened in the making? Please check my photo's for description. Size is 2 7/8” tall and 3 1/2” wide at widest part.
