Description: Antique 1724 book in French "Nouvel abrégé des Meditations du P. Du Pont", Tome 1. Missing the Title page, text starts with page Aii (Dedication). The publication date and publisher's details are stated on the Permission / Privilege (approbation) page. Printed in Strasbourg, Jean-Baptiste Cusson, 1724. Good antiquarian condition. Size 12mo (6 3/4" tall) in period embossed calf binding, a bit worn but sound. The binding is reasonably tight, no loose or missing pages except the above mentioned Title page, with 12 + 580 pages. A well preserved 299 years old book.
