Description: For sale is a set of vintage screw back earnings by Amita Japan. The drop style earrings frame flat, flower-shape discs of black inlaid with gold and silver to create a floral pattern. The smaller dish has the screw back closure and connects the dangling second panel with two chain links. The base metal is gold color. The Kyo Zogan, Damascene, craft work is created by carving a cloth-weave inlay texture onto thin iron sheets with inlays of gold and silver. Both pieces are in good vintage condition with natural patina -- especially the silver which appears dark gray but still reflects light. The earrings are marked on the back under the screw top for Amita. Made in Japan. Approximate Measurements1" wide 1 1/8" high
