Description: Metal head dolls were made from 1850-1930 by various manufacturers. This is a large shoulderhead marked Minerva with the hallmark helmet on chest and Germany 6 incised on the back. There are four attachment holes, much chipping of the original paint but little denting so she is perfect for restoration. The blue eyes are stationary and open mouth reveals 6 upper teeth and solid lower teeth. The head is 6” tall, 10” around the circumference, 4-3/4” across the shoulders and 2-7/8 across the bottom opening.
