It may even be carefully hand laundered, as they did over 100 years ago. All three pieces, bodice, skirt and jacket are hand decorated extensively with cutwork medallions, small, embroidered dots and flowers, lace at the neckline, and a peplum at the waist of the bodice. The flattering elbow length sleeves are finished with pretty embroidered scallops. The jacket is also trimmed with embroidered scallops all around the collar, the front, the back and around the cuffs of the sleeves. The bodice and skirt closures are hooks and eyes. The 2buttons closing the jacket are decorated with adorable, raised dots. Please examine photos for details. The outfit would fit the smaller woman, similar to the antique dress form in the photos, which measures approximately 33" 26" 38". The woman modelling the outfit with the jacket over her shoulders wears a size 0 to 2.
