The major drawback to the Kitzur Shulchan Aruch by Solomon Ganzfried was that an English Index was never made (I don't believe any Index exists, even in Hebrew) until Joseph Platnick completed this work, long out of print, which took him 20 years to accomplish. It was so difficult to compile because there are many laws strewn about in non-intuitive locations, and if you didn't know about them you would never find them. This is long out of print and hard to find. It is an extremely good, and handy Index. As seen the 2 volumes' covers match, so intended by the author. The first 8 pictures are of the volume which is the English translation of the Kitzur by Goldin and part of his table of contents. Besides for the actual translation of the Kitzur, there are 32 wholesome pages of extremely valuable notes at the rear of the book. Afterwards I show selections from Platnick's Index, which clearly shows how useful it is, and certainly how much work went into compiling his contribution. The Kitzur volume was printed in 1989. Condition: Both books in nice condition. The Kitzur volume has a small name on blank page. Smart-phone users, click top right menu of phone, select 'request desktop site'.
