Card size is the modern standard: 2-1/2" by 3-1/2" and features artist Mark Chiarello's colorful rendering on the front with interesting biographical data by writer Jack Morelli (edited by Catherine Yronwode) on the reverse side. Eclipse Enterprises produced at least two editions of Stars of the Negro Leagues which may be differentiated by checking the back of each card. The third line from the bottom states: Stars of the Negro Leagues Trading Cards 2nd Edition on second edition cards. The words 2nd Edition is not present for First Edition cards. Unfortunately, so far as we can determine, the promised "all-new 110-card NEGRO LEAGUES ALL-STARS" set by Eclipse never materialized. Note: At initial listing we have both First and Second Edition cards. If the quantity available is "3" we have both 1st and 2nd edition cards. If you wish one of each, just change the quantity desired from 1 to 2 and we will send you one of each. Otherwise, we will send a 2nd Edition card.
