Description: This auction is for a 2021 Cobscook International Camporee. Benefit listing . This was the official 59th annual Cobscook/Moosehorn International Camporee held in downeast Maine. The theme was Scottish Highland Games. This patch was designed by Scouts Canada Chief Scout Paige Spears who was a long time participant of the event and is now an Art Student at university. 100% of the proceeds from this Buy it now supports the Cobscook Bay Camporee Program. The Cobscook/Moosehorn International Wildlife camporee is one of two of the oldest camporees held annually in New England. The other being the Annual Camporee held at West Point. The Cobscook/Moosehorn International Camporee was first run in 1962 at Cobscook Bay state park. As the popularity grew in the late 1980s into the early 1992 the organizers decided to move it to the Moosehorn Wildlife refuge (of which Cobscook is also a part of). It was held at Moosehorn from 1992 until 2014 when it returned to its original location at Cobscook bay state park. The Cobscook International Camporee has seen youth attend from both Pine Tree Council and Katahdin Area council Maine BSA as well as Scouts New Brunswick, Scouts Nova Scotia, B.P Scouts Canada, and Girl Guides Nova Scotia. 100% of the proceeds in this listing will go into next years program budget for Cobscook.
