Clock counts down the days, hours, minutes and seconds until Christmas! The clock can be set as early as October (it only lets you choose Oct, Nov, or Dec when setting it). The time countdown will countdown backwards until midnight on Christmas Eve. During Christmas Eve when you press the button the disc on the Snowman's tummy will start spinning and the LED emitters will spell out "ONE DAY TO GO!" and "SANTA COMES TONIGHT!" After midnight and on the 25th the spinning disc will read "MERRY CHRISTMAS!" and then "HO HO HO!" It will then either show a ring of Christmas Trees or Snowflakes that will flash and then spin around. See video for an example of the Christmas Trees spinning. This can be set on any flat surface, but also has an eyelet screw on top for an ornament hook to hang it on the tree if you wish! Hook not included. Measures just over 4.5" tall and about 3.5" wide. Battery door is present and intact and battery compartment is clean and corrosion free! See pics 10 & 11! Runs on 3 AAA batteries (not included).
