Description: This item is a nice vintage songbook titled "The Reader's Digest Merry Christmas Songbook." This hard cover book measures about 10 x 12 1/4" and contains 255 numbered pages. Copyright is 2003. The book has a metal spiral binding inside to allow the pages to open and lie flat for easy use at the piano or organ. I will not name the individual songs because there are so many, but the sections are: Our Best Loved Carols; Popular Christmas Hits; For Children at Christmastime; Christmas is a Winter Festival; Modern Carols; Favorite Carols of Yesterday and Today; Christmas Round the World; Christmas Folk Songs and Spirituals; Christmas Classics and Instrumental Favorites; Ring out the Old! Ring in the New Year! Each selection contains both words and music with Chords. Also included is a paper booklet inside a pocket on the front cover containing the words only for all the songs so others could sing along while someone plays from this book. This book is in excellent condition except for quite a lot of indentations on the back cover. Apparently someone used it as a pad while they were doing some work. The indentations are not too noticeable unless held to light. The Lyric Booklet appears excellent. I do not see any handwriting or other evidence of use. U.S. buyers pay USPS Media Mail Postage.
