Description: Two outfits for 7 1/2" Cosmopolitan Ginger dolls in original boxes. First is 1957 Thanksgiving includes hat, dress, taffeta apron, shoes socks and underwear. Ribbon missing from one shoe. Second is Blue Fairy, October 1957. For Halloween, but also included in Disneyland Fairyland costumes. It is missing a wand. Glitter on crown and wings is probably not as heavy as originally. Both outfits are clean, and show no wear, except for the glitter loss. Outfits were sold through the Ginger Dress-of-the-month club, and one includes a note of apology because the outfit was late due to a fire in their warehouse. From the estate and personal collection of Dian Zillner, author of numerous books on Dolls, Doll accessories, and Doll Houses. Many of the listed items have been used as illustrations in her books.
