Description: This is a pair of original vintage (early - mid 20th century) mahogany wall sconce shelves, both stamped Butler, Style# 174 on the back. Both pieces have a hole cut in the shelf top (this was done in the factory) but the purpose of of the hole is unknown. Both pieces are in very good original condition. One has a small crack in the veneer on the side, and one has a couple tiny cracks in the fretwork under the shelf, both of which have been glued. Both have only very minor, light surface wear and no obvious damage. They each have hangers on the back for wall mounting. Each piece measures 10" W x 6" D x 12 1/2" H and the holes measure 4 1/4" in diameter and are 2 3/4" deep. Both pieces will be packed securely and fully insured during shipping.
