These are made of latex free, durable and safe nitrile rubber (this is the same material used in many latex free hospital or food industry gloves). I'm a mom of 2 and although I loved the Medela Harmony breastpump, I was so frustrated that when the pump stopped working because of a tiny broken o-ring, the company did not offer this replacement part and I would have to buy a whole new handle assembly.
