VINTAGE 1990s ALFRED ANGELO DESIGNER WEDDING DRESS --- ***please read sizing info carefully!!!*** This is my personal wedding dress, purchased in 1997. It was worn only for my bridal portrait and then on my wedding day. After my wedding it was professionally cleaned and sealed in a keepsake box. My daughters are now grown and have no need or want for the dress so I am selling it. Outer shell is silk. Zips up in the back. The back "looks" like it buttons, but there is a zipper underneath. SIZING: READ CAREFULLY I was a size 8-10 at the time in 1997. As you probably know the sizes of wedding attire then and now run larger and I believe this dress was sized as either a 12 or 14. I was upset about the size when I bought it, and the lady at the bridal shop cut the tag out so I wouldn't "think" about it (looking back, so silly!). You can see my personal portrait in the photos to gather my "size" and figure at the time. I did try this dress on recently when my daughter bought her dress and it no longer fits, but I am now a true size 14. I would venture that this dress will fit someone around a size 8 - but keep in mind that sizes have changed since the 90s and tend to run a little bigger now. Condition:Pre-owned.The dress was professionally cleaned and packaged in an heirloom storage box. There is no yellowing of the dress itself;Some of the beadwork - mostly the clear sequins behind the beads - have a yellow coloring to it - please see closeup photos of this.The dress has been in storage for over 25 years.
