Circa 1987. The blue with gold text really sings along side the 18K Gold & Steel case and bracelet. Dial has tones of purple in the right light. The bracelet is very tight and is a pleasure on the wrist. I enjoy wearing this piece. Watch is all original and bracelet fits my 7.6" wrist with it sized down one hole on the micro adjustment. The watch is in excellent condition for age. Some scratches on case and bracelet from normal use. Lugs are full in shape. The dial has some patina / inclusions by where the hands meet and by date window. Does not bother me on wrist. This Datejust just has the look and has a freshness that really pops. I wanted to note the pillow is not present in the box. Box, outer box, watch, hang tag, your Rolex Oyster manual, and polishing cloth included. No papers.
