Ethel (Katharine Hepburn), Chelsea (Jane Fonda) and Billy (Doug McKeon) leave Norman, played by Henry Fonda, to go out for a late-night swim, in "On Golden Pond." The movie takes an uncompromising look at how three generations confront each other one particular summer. An old Victorian house on a lake was the focal point of the story, and it was found in the Winnipesaukee Lakes region of New Hampshire. The house was actually a one-story building, but it was reconstructed by the production crew with the addition of an extra wing holding two bedrooms and a balcony. The living room and kitchen were also extended, the roof was shingled and a new boat dock was built.Photo measures 10.25 x 8inches. Photo is dated --1981.
