Description: Shown here is a very nice original GM/Delco AM FM Stereo radio. This Delco service number 40BCMS1 (1984 model) GM part number 16009960, GM package number 995992 has been serviced and ready to install. These GM/Delco 2700 Series radios were used in many GM vehicles for many years from 1978 through the mid 80's. ***This radio appears to be an early truck take-out. It looks new outside as it does on the inside! Check applications before bidding, Ask questions first, not after. I am a former GM/Delco and Ford radio service tech. All of my radios are serviced before listing. There are no "worked when removed 20 years ago", “tested” or "condition unknown" specials here. All controls and switches cleaned. Tuner cleaned and lubed. Stereo LED is nice and bright. The backlight works as it should. Cleaned and detailed, ready to install. The faceplate is in excellent condition as well as the chrome trim. The white lettering is near perfect. Chrome pushbuttons are near perfect finish. I have Included is a set of very nice Chevy/GMC truck knobs, both shaft nuts, side clip and nut.
