Description: This is a hood to cowl seal (with clips) (59-1/8" long) for the 1968-1972 Chevrolet Chevelle, El Camino or Monte Carlo. The hood to cowl seal is by the back of the firewall, it seals the back side of the hood to the firewall. It is used to keep water and debris out of the engine as well as restoring proper airflow. This hood to cowl seal is made from sponge rubber, not hard rubber that can push the back side of the hood up. The hood to cowl seal is made by Metro Moulded and come with a 15 year manufacturers warranty, after over 100 years making weatherstripping they really know how to make a quality part.
