Description: 1963 Omega 131.001-63-SC Mechanical Cal.286 Manual Wind Swiss Watch About the watch & condition: Here we have a nice manual wind Omega dating back to 1963! It’s powered by a Cal.286Omega movement which is running well and keeps excellent time. When tested it was within 30 seconds over a 24 hour period. It’s a great watch but does have some signs of wear as shown. More details below; This watch has a nice dial however as shown there is some heavy signs of wear especially to the right side. It has nice contrasting silver indexes & hands as shown. Despite its wear it does look nice on the wrist. The crystal isn’t the original and does have some light scratches. With a full polish it can be cleaned up nicely or simply replaced cheap enough. The case is stainless steel and matches well with the dial. There’s some light scratches which you’d expect of any pre owned vintage watch but nothing major. The crown is the original and works/winds absolutely fine with no issues. It’s sat on a standard stainless steel flexi bracelet which will fit a wrist of 8 3/4 inches. I’d recommend swapping this out for a nice leather strap as I think it’d look nicer however it’s completely your choice. There’s some wear to the current bracelet but does work fine. This watch is a mechanical watch, this means it needs to be wound for it to work. Please know this when buying! This is just for the watch, there’s no box or papers. This is common for vintage watches as people often just chucked them away unfortunately.
