Description: Vietnam era pith helmet. Tan twill fabric on the outside, green on the inside. While in pretty good shape for the life it's led, this hat shows some wear: there are some water stains and other light soiling, plus something black on the front rim, about 1/2" long; it looks like it could be tar. There are also a couple places where the threads have frayed away, see pic; these do not go all the way through.
