Description: 1960 Deluxe Reading Operation X-500 Playset 100% Comp W/Box Nicest You Will Find Let me first say it took a good decade to find this toy in this high grade condition and complete. This is coming from my personal collection of toys. There is nothing missing from this playset it is 100% complete. Every figure is here and nice and white including the dog, monkey, astronaut and black robot figure. All 10 missiles and rockets are here with clean rubber tips. The Base Defense has all of it's levers, dials, and buttons. The Atlas rocket is clean and unbroken with all 3 clear clean toppers and original rod and launching spring. The helicopter has the removable prop as well as an unbroken tail rotor. The white railing that goes around the rocket gantry platforms is all intact and unbroken. There were only 2 things that I found when I first got the set and that is the clear domed 3 radar unit has a broken clear tab underneath that I have taken a picture of and can be seen in the 22nd photo. The other thing is the base defense red railing has one split vertical post that is very hard to see. The instructions are original to the set and in nice condition. Also the decal sheets are here and have never been applied, but do have some curling to them. The box has all of it's flaps some creases, and tears but displays very nice. There are no box inserts inside. You would be hard pressed to find a set this nice. You are buying what is listed in the title and pictured here.
