Description: 1949 Original Postwar Lionel 6462 NYC Gondola Car with Original Box - Made in the USA One of the couplers may need a spring replaced; it does not spring open when contacted with the magnetic uncoupler, and needs to be nudged open. It does snap closed as designed when contacting the next car’s coupler. Other than this minor issue, this freight car appears to be in very good functional condition. The box shows some wear and repair. One of the end panels is detached from the box; the end panel is included (see photos).
