Description: This 1940’s Antique Stained Glass Lamp featuring the World Globe (Earth) is absolutely marvelous! It’s stunning and breathtaking all in one and really exemplifies any room and steals the attention of anyone that ever has the chance to see it. It’s the #1 talking piece when I have visitors that come into my parlor (where I’ve had it now for more than 12 years). This is an extremely rare piece as none exist like it anywhere in the world and I haven’t been able to find any like it ever before. Google lens and deep web searches also show no close relatives. The heavy gold accent base and hanger are fine and tight, however not overly tight as the adjustment and positioning of the globe is possible - as it can be spun and adjusted to your liking. The lighting is operated by switch control. This piece originally came from the Elmer S. Kadar estate. Kadar was a very wealthy Hungarian who was a relative of the leading ruler during WWII, Janos Kadar and many of the items featured on my account have also derived from Kadar. MEASURES: 21” x 14”. Specifically: 21” (lamp height - very top to bottom of base), 14” (width of the globe), 28” (the globes total circumference), 10” (base width) WEIGHT: 25 lb’s. CONDITION: There are some conditioning notes regarding the top of the globe as it does have some separation. PLEASE refer to my pictures that show the separation. The globe doesn’t appear to be in jeopardy of losing its hold to the topper however as it has been this way for more than the 20 years I have owned it.
