1930s Vintage Asian Chinese Silk Brocade Jacket with Scenic Natural Embroidery

Description: 1930s Vintage Asian Chinese Silk Brocade Jacket with Scenic Natural Embroidery. This stunning jacket is made of pure silk and features beautiful brocade embroidery. The main body of the garment is a tan colored silk with brocade embroidery done in natural tones. There are two sets of tassels by the jacket's collar with roped bases in the shape of a flower. The scenic brocade embroidery depicts natural things like the sea, foliage, and hillsides as well as asian architectural details such as bridges and buildings. The sleeves are 3/4 length and the jacket does not have a closure. This piece is in good vintage condition with few signs of wear. There is some staining on the inside lining and minor discoloration on the ends of the sleeves. There is also some discoloration in two lines down the front panels and along the sleeves from where it had been folded and stored for several years. The stitching has become undone along the lefthand shoulder leaving the front and back panels disconnected in that area.
