Description: 1890 DRYPOINT Landscape ETCHING, Pencil Signed J. HALLER, RADTKE-LAUCKNER N.Y Click images to enlarge Description 1890 FRAMED DRYPOINT ETCHING Wonderful antique framed under glass drypoint etching of a pastoral landscape pencil signed J. HALLER and measuring 23-1/3" long and 10-3/4" deep. Featuring a peaceful image of a large pond, stark trees, split rail fence, and house in the distance, it was published by Radtke-Lauckner, Elfield NY. - I've seen similar etchings referred to as Riverside House. Condition is lovely with a hint of tanning around the edge of the etching, tanning to the textured matte, rubbing to the wood frame and a few tiny lighter spots as shown within the print -- back bears the old wood board - it has not leeched into the paper - old paper dust cover is torn and tape repaired. A beautiful, peaceful landscape, and a lovely addition to any collection or display! Please note -- images taken through the glass which is causing white circles and spots from reflection.
