It consists of three books covering the events of 4948 BC, from shortly before Caesar's invasion of Italy to Pompey's defeat at the Battle of Pharsalus and flight to Egypt. Published in 1839 by Sumptibus Librariae Scholarum Regiae in Monachii (Munich). Book contains 158 pages Complete, with no missing (except for blank pages at beginning of book) or torn pages. This hardcover volume measures 5 3/8" x 8" and displays beautifully. Spine is damaged, but tight, with covers and all pages firmly attached. No bookplate or library markings. No writing or notations in book. Guaranteed to be original circa-1830's, and not a copy or reproduction.
