Please follow us on Instagram, we are @textiletrunk ! ~ A marvelous silk border fabric that dates from the 1800's and , this border is beautifully aged, great patina ~ The silk is stunning, little age marks dot this trim giving it an antique lived in look, still very regal, but beautifully aged! It has a wonderful sheen. This fabric was meant to be seen by candle light ~ its sheen is warm and charming ~ It's a damask weave, and used for bordering curtains, upholstery , you name it. The ground tone is a lovely tone of teal, rather half way between green and blue! ~*~ The damask is gold !~ I found a large lot of this wonderful fabric in a personal collection that was offered to me and I'm selling each piece separately , to see the other lengths simply search my store for the word Acorn, to see the other patterns from this collection use the words " silk damask border " ~*~ MEASUREMENTS : This length measures approximately 1.3 yards long by 6.3 inches wide ~ CONDITION: This trim was used and has light signs of time and use ~ There is some wear on the side edge and a few tiny age marks ~*~ signs of time and use are often inherent in these wonderful antique textiles! ~*~ All condition is taken account for in the price ~*~ Inventory : Shelf 2, 64
